This one took a long time to get interesting for me. It’s fully two hours without an intermission, and it wasn’t really until about an hour in where something happened that got me intrigued. Before that, it’s just a lot of toxic British jock energy. I did notice people leaving throughout. Nice set, lighting and sound design, good performances…the lead actor, Matisse, who plays Jason, certainly has a traditionally Adonis-like eye-candy body on full display, and an unclockable British accent for an American. Ultimately, there’s not much here for me to recommend this being worth attending, I’m afraid. It’s not bad, it’s just a little long, and lacking in stakes and intensity until the end.
